Churches Together in Britain and Ireland invite you to join them in launching the new Church of Sanctuary resource ‘Sanctuary: The Hospitality of Host, Guest and Stranger‘, written by Revd Dr Inderjit Bhogal and Dr Jayme R. Reaves, on Thursday 9th June 2022 at 7pm as a Zoom Webinar.
‘Sanctuary: the hospitality of host, guest and stranger’ aims to support individual Christians, church communities and ecumenical groups in reflecting on the significance of sanctuary in the context of Refugee Week. The Sunday at the end of the week is designated as Sanctuary Sunday to give expression through prayer and witness to the centrality of sanctuary and hospitality to the stranger in the Christian call to love our neighbours
During this webinar you will also hear from those who have experienced hospitality while being caught up in the asylum system, the Churches of Sanctuary who reach out to those in need and how you can be part of this important work.
