We are delighted to be running a workshop at Life Beyond Borders Conference and Networking Event.
This is a day-long, ‘in-person’, free event exploring the local, national and international implications of borders on communities, including their impact on refugees and asylum seekers.
We will be joining an assortment of speakers from across Ireland, Britain and Europe will explore the philosophical, religious and historical significance of borders and how they relate to issues of nationality, identity, faith, culture, ethnicity and politics.
• Key speakers from Ireland, Britain and Europe
• Forum bringing together an array of organisations and groups in Britain and Ireland who are engaged in asylum and refugee work
• Take part in workshops
• Network with peers
• Share information and best practices
• Learn ways to take action within your church and community
This event is for those with a key interest in issues linked to faith, identity, justice, sanctuary and asylum.
Life Beyond Borders Conference and Networking Event is hosted by Churches’ Refugee Network (CRN) and Churches Together in Britain and Ireland (CTBI).
