Faith Leaders and the Nationality and Borders Bill – September 2021

On the 28th September 2021, Ripon City of Sanctuary in partnership with Asylum Matters organised a webinar  for Faith leaders to learn about the UK government’s pending Nationality and Borders Bill which will radically limit access to asylum and sanctuary for those who come to the UK fleeing war and persecution. The webinar explores what new bill sets out to do, how civic groups are responding to it, and how faith organisations can protest the bill.
