On Sunday, 23rd of May,  joined the The Catholic Diocese of Hexham & Newcastle held an  Interfaith Witness prayer service.

Together with several Churches and Faith communities, a lot of people joined them online to witness to their faith in standing together against the building of Hassockfield Immigration Detention Centre and the detention of women seeking asylum.

Ahead of this meeting they issued a video explaining why they were opposed to the new Detention Centre at Hassockfield.
